Biography :

Partner at Priscus Iberia and senior adviser at Priscus Finance in Paris. In 1988 and 1993, he set up two Portuguese branches of the French insurance group Abeille (Groupe Victoire), of which he was managing director until 2005. In 1999, he set up a life insurance company as part of a joint venture between the British group Aviva and the Spanish group Banco Popular Español, and was its CEO until 2006.

From 2007 to 2018, he joined the Board of Directors of Banco Popular Portugal as an executive member. During the same period, he was CEO of Popular Gestão de Activos, a property and asset management company. From 2015 to 2018, he joined Primestar Servicing as a non-executive board member In November 2020, he was appointed executive member of Novo Banco’s monitoring committee.
